Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra to voice for the Hindi version of Frozen 2
These two sisters have never come together for a film, but fans always wanted Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra to collaborate. Looks like there's time before we see them lighting up the big screen together. But you can at least hear them together!
Priyanka and Parineeti will be voicing for Frozen 2, the second edition of the animation franchise. Queen Elsa's character in the Hindi version of Frozen 2 will come alive with Priyanka's voice while Parineeti will be lending her voice for Elsa's sister, Princess Anna. Priyanka took to social media to announce the collaboration between 'Mimi' (her nickname) and Tisha (Parineeti's nick name). Mimi and Tisha are now Elsa and Anna! The #ChopraSisters are finally coming together for Disney’s Frozen 2. Can’t wait for you guys to see us… I mean HEAR us bring these amazing, strong characters to life in Hindi. #Frozen2 in theatres on 22nd November 2019,' she wrote.
“Elsa is a fictional character who’s known to be strongly-opinionated and level headed, traits that I deeply connect with. This not only made me want to be part of the film, but also gives me a wonderful opportunity to present one of the most-successful animated films to our local audiences. My happiness just goes up a notch knowing that Parineeti will be voicing Anna’s character. The two of us have never worked together before and this seems like a perfect movie to come together and an experience that I am going to cherish forever," the actor shared, all excited.
“You don’t need to be an actress to dream of being a Disney princess!! I absolutely loved the first film, it’s my favourite animation film but never thought that I’d get to voice Anna. But of course the real cherry on the cake is that I’ve been cast in a film about sisters with my real life sister!! While dubbing we would keep laughing about the fact that we are actually like our characters in real life! Mimi didi is totally like Elsa and I’m totally like Anna! This is why this movie will always be special. I can’t wait for the audience response," Parineeti added.
Priyanka, on the work front, is back to the US after the release of The Sky Is Pink and will soon begin working on The White Tiger, a Netflix original. Parineeri, on the other hand, will be next seen in Bhuj: The Pride of India alongside Ajay Devgn and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar opposite Arjun Kapoor. She also wrapped the filming of The Girl On The Train recently.

Saif Ali Khan FINALLY comments on Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan’s alleged relationship
All set to expand his horizons as a Naga Sadhu in Laal Kaptaan, Saif Ali Khan has been promoting his upcoming film in full swing. He has always challenged himself when it comes to working and has taken risks, making him one of the most versatile actors in the industry. Just like her Abba, Sara Ali Khan has also been one of the best new-age debutantes we have come across in a long time.
After wrapping her shoot for Imtiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal, Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan’s frequent meet-ups led the rumour mills churning. It was reported that the two actors were dating after Sara confessed on Koffee With Karan about her crush on Kartik. In the episode, Saif Ali Khan joked about being okay with Kartik taking Sara if he has money.
During the Laal Kaptaan promotions, he finally had something to say about their alleged relationship and went on to say that he trusts Sara’s values. He says Sara usually likes nice people and Kartik might be a lovely guy because he has known what kind of things Sara is drawn to. Talking more about the two, he says if Sara has chosen him, then he must be nice.

Exclusive: Rakesh Roshan will direct Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 4 and NOT Sanjay Gupta!
Recently there were reports that Krrish 4 would be directed by filmmaker Sanjay Gupta and not Rakesh Roshan who has directed the other three parts of the franchise. This put Bollywood in a flutter trying to find the correct answer in the guessing game.
However, Rakesh Roshan tells us laughingly, “Even I am reading the same rumours as you and I don’t know who is writing it. Of course, I will direct it. Sanjay Gupta is with me writing the script with me and with me all the time. We both discuss things as our thoughts are very similar and we are working together in this. Even Sanjay is a very fine director, did a very good job with Kaabil and I am very proud of him. Right now, he is busy with his Mumbai Saga shoot.”
When I tell him, we are waiting for the Krrish 4 announcement to happen, he says, “I will only announce it once I am sure about the script. When I am 100 per cent sure about the script, I will make the announcement as a director. The day I decide to make it, it will take me one more year to start the film. Being a big film in terms of vision and VFX, the preproduction will take a lot of time. Mine is the only franchise which is going from story to story. It’s not just the names I am using to make into another film. While Hollywood can afford budgets, we can score on emotions. Three breath-taking emotional action scenes will score over 10 mindless action sequences.”
Roshan Sr says he is completely involved in the production of all his movies. “Not even a needle can pass in front of me without catching my eye. I am passionate about my work and I want to see that the money I am spending is what I am seeing on screen and not seen outside. I hate wasting money. The movie has to be so well-planned that not even a paise should be wasted. A 7 am shift means you have to be on location at 6.30 so the shot can be taken. That was the first condition I would out to any actor before I signed him. If the unit and hundreds of technicians can come, why cannot one actor come on time? When I can be there why cannot the actors be there?
The lion-hearted filmmaker, who is always cool and calm, and a tower of strength for his family, is recovering from early stage squamous cell carcinoma (throat cancer). He had to undergo a surgery in January at the Hurkisondas Hospital. “Hrithik and I were working out in the gym till the day I went into surgery. He posted a pic of us on social media in the morning on January 7, drove me to the Hurkisondas Hospital in Mumbai at 3 pm and got me admitted for my surgery. The surgery took five hours, carried out by Dr Vijay V Haribhakti and Dr Jatin Shah, who was with him. But I recovered very fast. One hour after my surgery when I gained consciousness, the doctors were shocked to see me walk. In two days, they let me go home and went to office the next day. Since then, I never stopped attending office. I would take chemo or radiation treatment and come to the office.”
The chemotherapy was a strong one which could have made a strong man weak but not Rakesh Roshan. “They gave me an anti-cancer chemotherapy drug to take it in three cycles, every three weeks. The doctors thought that if I pass through the second one, it is more than enough. The third cycle was extremely strong and weakened people completely. They were surprised that I completed all three cycles with very little discomfort. I don’t know how I managed – maybe because I used to work out or I am mentally strong I managed. Even my radiation strength was more, 67, when usually it is 60. God has been kind and I have recovered, almost about 90 per cent now. I have started working out from last couple of months, not very heavy but at least five days a week.”
Rakesh Roshan says that while the Cancer word is not easy to accept, he decided to tackle it in a positive way. “Yes, there were days when I would get disturbed sometimes because the chemos and treatments give you mood swings… I used to get bit angry and irritated sometimes, which I usually don’t get, but then I thought that this is a part of the process of recovery and is going to happen. When I would angry, I tell myself that this is not me, but is the medicine which is doing that, and it is a part of the treatment process. The journey taught me that anything can happen at any moment in life, without expecting it so live happily and be happy with whatever you have. Illness is one thing where nobody can help you. You have to help yourself only and though, you have your entire family with you as your support system, yet you are still alone. They are not suffering but only helping you heal.”
Rakesh Roshan breathes in and says reflectively, “There was a moment in my life when I thought what is money? Nothing is of use. We cannot take anything with us so let’s enjoy and live every moment. You can’t rejoice in your success or get demoralized by your failure. Life has its ups and downs and we have to live with it. I would like to say that the word cancer sounds very horrifying and scary but it’s not. It can be treated. Everything can be treated today, if you take care of your health. One should not get depressed or scared when he or she has got this disease.”
Sonakshi Sinha hits back at trolls for calling Akshay Kumar misogynistic, says he was defending her
Sonakshi Sinha has never been the one to entertain trolls. She has made a name for herself and revealed that she was body-shamed when she first came into the industry despite having lost 30 kilos. In a recent interview that has gone viral, a statement that Akshay once made is being stated as misogynistic and Sonakshi Sinha has come out in full support of her Rowdy Rathore and Mission Mangal co-star.
The statement that has gone viral from the Rowdy Rathore promotions has Akshay saying that he likes his actresses to be ‘hari bhari’ and that they shouldn’t look like ‘chusa hua aam’. While this video acquired a lot of negative attention, Sonakshi was in no mood to deal with this drama. She dissed the trolls saying that since they do not have anything better to do with their lives, they resort to trolling. She further said that she shares a great friendship and a professional equation with Akshay and that he was talking about a friend, not a random person.
Sonakshi revealed that she was heavily trolled for her physique and Akshay being a gentleman was defending her. If she does not have a problem even though Akshay was talking about her, it is nobody else’s business. Sonakshi Sinha even suggested that people should start utilizing their time for better rather than digging things from the past and making an issue out of it.
What do you think of this entire situation? Be sure to let us know.

Krushna reveals why he was missing when his uncle Govinda appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show
Last week actor Govinda, along with his wife Sunita Ahuja and daughter Namrata were the guests on Kapil Sharma's show. However, Krushna Abhishek who is an actor on the show was missing in action during that episode. A year ago there were reports that Govinda and his wife Sunita were at loggerheads with their nephew Krushna and his wife Kashmera Shah. Sunita had taken offense when Kashmera had tweeted about 'people who take money for dancing'.
Krushna while speaking to a daily said that Sunita had requested the team for him to not be a part of the segment featuring them. Krushna found this sad and shocking and said that his character Sapna is an integral part of the show. He, however, chose not to create a scene because it was Narmada's big day as she had come to promote her album. He said that being an older brother he thinks good for his sister, and he expected the same from his elders. He also said that Govinda does not want them to talk about their issues in public, but something like this has happened.
While talking about their fight, Krushna said that he and his uncle had patched up six months ago and have even met a couple of times at the latter's house. The two had even met in Dubai 20 days ago where Govinda told Krushna to mend ties with his aunt.
Krushna feels that Sunita still holds Kashmera’s tweet, which was posted when Govinda and she appeared on 'Comedy Nights Bachao', against them. The actor-comedian said that he has already clarified that the post was for his sister Arti Singh and hopes that the matter gets resolved once and for all.

Have Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan called it quits?
Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan created a lot of buzz after they began shooting for Imtiaz Ali's romantic drama tentatively titled Aaj Kal. But before that, Sara had confessed on Koffee With Karan 6 that she would like to date Kartik. Post that, Ranveer Singh did the honours and officially introduced them at an event. Since the film shoot began and post the wrap-up, the duo was quite cozy which began the dating rumours.
Now, if the reports are to be believed, the couple has called it quits. Since their work schedule is pretty tight, they've not been able to spend much time with each other. While Kartik Aaryan has completed Pati Patni Aur Woh, he has begun the shoot for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The next month, the actor will be starting Dostana 2. Even Sara Ali Khan is busy with Coolie No 1 shooting.
The duo tried their best to make things work. Sara Ali Khan had travelled to Lucknow after Imtiaz Ali's film was wrapped up and Kartik was shooting for Pati Patni Aur Woh. The duo was seen hanging out while holding hands. Kartik even flew to Bangkok during her birthday to spend time with her. They have been often seen together in Mumbai picking each other up from work or airports.

EXCLUSIVE! Is Rohit Shetty adding new characters in Akshay Kumar - Katrina Kaif starrer SOORYAVANSHI?
While there has been speculation about some scenes of Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi being re-shot now in Hyderabad, we have also come to hear that some new characters have been added to the script, after the first schedule. The cop action-drama stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Gulshan Grover, Sikandar Kher and Niharica Raizada among others. Sooryavanshi, which is one of the most anticipated action-drama cop dramas of 2020, is slated for release on March 27.
Says a trade source, “There has been buzz that some re-shooting is happening in Hyderabad on the movie, apart from the climax, which was shot on Ranveer, Akshay and Ajay, and they have been shooting for the last few days. Katrina was also there as part of some scenes but whether they were new scenes or re-shot one’s is not clear. Apparently, the makers (including writer Farhad Samji) are changing some of the tracks and have added the characters of Akshay’s father and mother, which was not there in the original. Akshay plays a stylised cop, ATS Chief Veer Sooryavanshi, who deals with terrorism and Neena Gupta and another actor has been finalised to play his parents. Buzz is, the characters were added to give emotional layers to the movie and was a recent decision.”
The source adds that apparently, Neena Gupta will wear prosthetics to get the look of an elderly lady and as Akshay’s mother, as she’s shooting for Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan too and has to remain in continuity. “She is a very dedicated artist and went through the process of life casting which takes a mould of her face and neck, for sculpting the prosthetic, in the first week of October. It’s a powerful role which apparently, was pencilled in recently in the script as was the role of Veer Sooryavanshi’s father.”
The actor who is playing his father is under wraps which they will announce according to their marketing strategy. There’s talk that Anupam Kher is playing Akshay’s father. In May this year, Akshay posted a candid pic on Twitter with Anupam Kher and Gulshan Grover. He captioned it saying, “I started my career with these two and it's amazing to still be working with them. We've laughed, punched each other, grown up and grown together. Beautiful people who I call friends.’ The source says, “Akshay has shot many movies with Anupam and his wife Kirron and is very close to the family. If Neena and Anupam play Akshay’s parents in Sooryavanshi, it will be a casting coup as the two award-winning actors have acted in Rakesh Bedi’s much-acclaimed, super hit play –Mera Woh Matlab Nahi Tha.”
There were rumours that some scenes of Sooryavanshi were being re-shot and Akshay had cancelled some of his Laxmmi Bomb dates, re-schedule them again for the Sooryavanshi shoot with Katrina in Hyderabad but the source dismisses those rumours. “Rohit is a very organised director and clear about what he wants. His shoots wind up earlier than scheduled, he has a very efficient and supportive team of technicians, and his action plan is safe and meticulous, so it seems highly unlikely that he would need to re-shoot scenes. One can always add characters to move the story forward and add emotional depths to it. Re-shooting is expensive, and a producer’s nightmare and it can never happen in a Rohit Shetty movie. He has always been a producer’s darling – he is not known as a Hit Machine for nothing.”

But to see International audience glued to their seats till the end, and understand the nitty-gritties was a heart-warming experience. Even in the question and answer session, their observations were very insightful. Many of them were also keen to know about my preparation for the role, since the character is unique.”
Viineet was recently seen in Bard of Blood, and is also gearing up for the release of Saand Ki Aankh, which also stars Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar.

‘I crave for versatility as an actor’: Bhumi Pednekar on how her next three films will highlight her diversity as an actor
Bhumi Pednekar is one of the most exciting young actors in Bollywood today, given her bold choice of movies and stand out performances in every single one of them. In every film, Bhumi has transformed herself and become the character that she was entrusted with.
With her debut film Dum Laga Ke Haisha, she delivered a break-through performance that year. She put on oodles of weight and made a bold debut as overweight but self-assured young woman, Sandhya. Her other films, Toilet : Ek Prem Katha, Shubh Mangal Savdhan, Lust Stories, and Son Chiriya also saw her transform for the camera and bring authenticity and genuineness on screen.
The next three films of Bhumi's will show her versatility. In Saand Ki Aankh, she plays the role of the world’s oldest sharpshooter Chandro Tomar, who along with her sister Prakashi (played by Taapsee Pannu), are the oldest women sharpshooters of the world. In Bala, she plays someone who is fiercely proud of how she looks and doesn’t conform to societal obsession for fair skin. In Pati Patni Aur Woh, Bhumi will be seen romancing Kartik Aryan in a film that will bring out her fun side.
Bhumi says, “I crave versatility as an actor and my next three films will showcase my diversity of choosing films. All three are incredible scripts and are films that are close to my heart. Interestingly Saand Ki Aankh and Bala have an important message that will touch the hearts of audiences because of the social commentary present in the scripts. Luckily Farhan is not in too much pain. He explains, “There is some pain when the hand is at a particular angle. So I have it wrapped to avoid as much movement as possible. It is more an annoyance than anything else.”
Tiger Shroff who has gone through his share of injuries during the shooting of action sequences says it is tough for an actor to draw the line between safety and recklessness when doing a dangerous stunt. “You want it give it your best. So you keep pushing yourself. Aur thoda aur thoda… It gets riskier and riskier. Sometimes you miscalculate the level of danger and things go wrong.”

Breaking: Release of SS Rajamouli’s directorial titled RRR postponed
Rajamouli’s eagerly-awaited post Baahubali project strangely entitled RRR is delayed. The film which was to be released in July 2020 is now likely to be released in January 2021 for Pongal.
A source close to the development explains, “There are two very busy Telugu superstars (NTR Jr and Ramcharan Teja) whose dates have to be co-ordinated. And there are two extremely busy Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn who are also part of the cast. Getting their dates synchronized is taking more effort than Rajamouli had imagined.”
However another source in the know says there is another relevant reason for the release delay. “Raja Sir has decided to add more action sequences to the film. These would be very hi-tech not seen before kind of stunts featuring Ram, NTR Jr and Devgn. Raja Sir wants the stunts to be better than what we saw in Baahubali,” says the source.
For a Rajamouli creation, we don’t mind waiting.

Rang De Basanti and 24 writer Rensil D’Silva’s debut novel KOHINOOR EXPRESS to reveal SECRETS about the coveted diamond
Nearly 12-13 years ago, Kurbaan director Rensil D’Silva had approached Karan Johar to make a film on the Kohinoor diamond. Upon hearing his idea, Karan Johar found the story to be too vast to be made into a film. Johar then suggested Rensil to first write a novel on the topic. And thus began the journey of researching and writing the Kohinoor Express. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, writer-director Rensil D'Silva opens up about his new book and tells us why it is an intriguing read.
History has it, that the Kohinoor diamond is a popular gem that was stolen by the British when they were ruling India. However, not many are aware of the significance the Kohinoor holds and how it reached the Queen of Victoria. Rensil D'Silva who is popular for writing films like Rang De Basanti, Student of the Year, Kurbaan (writer, director) and writing and directing TV shows like 24 (season 1 and 2) started writing the book in the year 2014.
Talking about why and how he chose this topic, Rensil says, “Way back in 2006-2007, I got very intrigued with the Kohinoor which is in the tower of London. We all know from history that Kohinoor was taken by the British from India. When I started doing the research I found out that it is a cursed stone and only a woman can wear it. Whenever men have tried to wear it, kings or emperors have died very badly and history has proved time and again. Especially among the Mughals, brother has killed brother, son has killed father for it. Then I heard all about Kohinoor being Lord Krishna’s stone. It was called the Syamantaka diamond. It was given to Lord Krishna by Surya and when I put these two together I had my story.”
The whole idea of Kohinoor started with Rensil wanting to make it into a film. So, when asked if he still plans on adapting it to the screen after all these years, the director says, “I thought of writing a book and then making a series later, because when you have the book it is so much easier to make it as you have all the details, research, and characters.”
Of late, period drama films have taken center stage thanks to filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. However, the director also had to face the wrath of the Karni Sena when his film Padmaavat was about to release. The whole controversy surrounding the film had become a matter of national interest all of a sudden. If asked, whether he had to make changes to his book owing to recent controversies, Rensil said, “There cannot be anything controversial about bringing the Kohinoor back to India. No Indian will say, ‘no don’t bring the diamond back’. It only becomes a problem when you are taking a real-life figure or person from folklore and distorting that figure. In this case, there is no such problem because the characters I have are purely fictional. It’s not like I am taking a person from history and distorting what he or she did.”
While there is an element of fiction in the novel, characters such as Captain James Ramsay and Governor-General Dalhousie are true. The basic story is based on facts of the Kohinoor being transported from Punjab to Bombay and from there being shipped to London for the Queen. “All the history in the book is true, I could not make that up and I think that history is wider than any writer can write and it is all true. So when a reader reads they will be surprised that this happened with the Kohinoor. There is an element of fiction. My lead character Ajmera is fictional, while the villain Captain Ramsay is a true historic figure. So, it is a blend of fiction and facts," he adds.
Meanwhile, on the film front, Rensil D'Silva will next be directing a sports drama starring John Abraham. The story revolves around the life of bikers and will be shot at the Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy). The film will go on floors in the first quarter of 2020 and will be the first Hindi film to be shot in the Isle of Man.
Rensil D'Silva debut novel 'Kohinoor Express' is out now and available on Amazon.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga reacts to murder committed by Tik Tok star mouthing Kabir Singh dialogues
Shahid Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Kabir Singh is once again making headlines and in relation to a gruesome murder committed by a Tik Tik star. Johnny Dada aka Ashwini Kumar was obsessed with a Dubai based flight attendant Nitika Sharma and murdered her. As it turns out, he was already wanted for three murders in Uttar Pradesh and committed suicide a week ago.
During the investigation, it came to light that Ashwini Kumar would often post photos of Shahid Kapoor from Kabir Singh. Even in one of the Tik Tok videos, he was seen mouthing the dialogue, "Jo mera nahin ho sakta, usse kisi aur ke hone ka mauka nahin doonga."
Even though the film hit a double century, Kabir Singh already received a lot of backlash over its misogynistic content. When reached out to Sandeep Reddy Vanga to talk about the recent incident, he said that he felt sorry for the girl and her family and that it was unfortunate that people have lost their lives. He further said that as filmmakers, they are responsible for their craft and need to consider the repercussions. He said that his films whether Kabir Singh or Arjun Reddy have never endorsed killing anyone.
On the work front, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is doing a crime thriller with Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani.
Salman Khan rejects Boney Kapoor, borrows his Wanted franchise
Salman Khan and Prabhu Dheva are finally getting back together for the sequel to their 2009 hit Wanted. But, Boney Kapoor, who was the producer of the original film, is nowhere to be seen in the sequel.
Sources say Salman Khan is loathe to work with Boney Kapoor for “personal reasons” (Salman’s former sister-in-law Malaika Arora is in a relationship with Boney’s son Arjun Kapoor). But he is keen on doing a Wanted sequel with Prabhu Dheva as his Eid 2020 release. Hence, the sequel to Salman’s Wanted is going to be made under Khan’s own production banner – Salman Khan Films.
Says a source in the know, “Salman and Prabhu Dheva are doing a Wanted sequel. They won’t take Boney Kapoor’s consent. But, they will do the sequel anyway.”
Sources close to Boney say he would have happily given Salman Khan the go-ahead to the sequel without Boney as producer. “He isn’t the kind to hold grudges or someone who would do anything out of spite. All Salman had to do was ask Boney and Wanted would have been given to Salman. Doing it without consent is not proper. But Boney is not taking any legal action,” says the source.

EXCLUSIVE: Buoyed by success, has Ayushmann Khurrana upped his acting remuneration by a WHOPPING 500 Per Cent?
Actor - singer Ayushmann Khurrana is on a roll! After a series of super hit films over the last couple of years and his latest release, Dream Girl, buzz is that the actor has decided to hike his price by a whopping 500 per cent! Apparently, Ayushmann’s fee was Rs. 2 crores which now he has raised to Rs. 10 crores.
A trade source says, “Dream Girl actor Ayushmann Khurrana, has been having a dream run at the box-office. His penchant for quirky movies with some highly exciting characters, has made him an extremely popular star among the audience who feel that he is among those rare stars who is combining success with sensible cinema. Brand Ayushmann today spells consistency, success and good content. The fact that he can rake in double figures on an opening day is probably the reason he has decided to hike his remuneration. He is working very hard, choosing films with care and now with his success ratio, he has been flooded with more offers. Apparently, he has upped his fees from Rs. 2 crores to Rs. 10 crores – which is a whopping 500 per cent hike.”
The source adds that while the figure may seem too high but given the fact that he’s the only actor today who has given a string of continuous hits, the number may not be as ridiculous as it sounds. “Ayushmann is the most bankable and saleable star in today’s times with his medium-budget movies carrying a higher profit percentage than big budget entertainers with top heroes. Dream Girl had the opening day collection of Rs. 10.05 crores, which is the highest first day collection for any of his movies released so far and continues to have a strong-hold even in its sixth week since the release. With a grand total to Rs 139.70 crores, it is not only Ayushmann’s highest grossing film but has beaten the lifetime collections of Badhaai Ho, that collected ₹137.61 crore.”
Ayushmann Khurrana has scored again where his upcoming projects are concerned with their unusual content – Bala is a fun take on premature balding, Shoojit Sircar’s comedy-drama Gulabo Sitabo, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, and he plays a gay man in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. He is the most dependable actor today in the film industry and a producer and director’s delight. Ayushmann is professional and like a chameleon when it comes to acting out his roles and this has won over many hearts in the BO and among the audience. His choice of cinema has been excellent.”
The source says that after Meri Pyaari Bindu (2017), which didn’t fare well at the box-office, Ayushmann hasn’t looked back. “Both his other films, which released in the same year, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, were good commercial successes. In 2018, came Sriram Raghavan's Andhadhun and Amit Sharma’s Badhaai Ho. While the former was produced on a budget of Rs. 32 crores and grossed over Rs. 456 crores at the worldwide box office (including the Chinese box-office), Badhaai Ho, made against a budget of Rs. 29 crores, earned over Rs. 221 crores. His success story continued with his releases this year - Article 15 (made at Rs. 28 crores and earned over Rs. 91 crores at the BO) and Dream Girl. Ayushmann even shared the National Film Award for Best Actor (Andhadhun), with Vicky Kaushal (Uri: The Surgical Strike). With big brands also lining up to sign him over the last year, hiking his fee for movies is but natural in the course of his career, which is being handled by YRF’s talent management team.”

EXCLUSIVE: Shah Rukh Khan all set to sign Atlee’s OUT-AND-OUT masala action film!
Shah Rukh Khan fans have been quite worried since the time his much awaited film Zero flopped. This Aanand L Rai starrer released on December 21 and since then, SRK hasn’t signed a single film. There have been countless speculations about his next and names of several directors have done the rounds. But almost all these reports turned out to be false.
But now we bring to you exclusive news that’ll surely provide a lot of excitement and also relief not just for Shah Rukh Khan’s admirers but also to trade and industry at large. The superstar has been having extensive talks with famous South director Atlee. If all goes well, Shah Rukh will be doing his next film with him. A source says, “Shah Rukh Khan has been reading many scripts. He has been having intense interactions with Ali Abbas Zafar but that film is not happening right now for some reason. Ali too has got busy with his web series Tandav, starring Saif Ali Khan. On the other hand, Atlee’s film with superstar Vijay, Bigil, is expected to release in sometime. The director was to do another film with Vijay in December but again, this project is not happening at the moment. Atlee’s dates, hence, are free from December.”
The source continues, “Atlee’s film with Shah Rukh Khan is an original flick and not a remake of the filmmaker’s earlier films like Mersal or Theri. Atlee wrote the script sometime back and it’ll be a complete massy entertainer, full of action. SRK loved the premise and trusts Atlee’s vision. Hence, Shah Rukh Khan should sign this film for sure, if all goes well.”
The source spills more details, “This film will be produced by SRK’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment. Atlee, moreover, will be paid Rs. 30 crore if this project materializes.”
A small section of fans and industry did have a hunch that Shah Rukh Khan’s next will happen with Atlee. In April this year, the filmmaker was invited by the star for an IPL match featuring his team Kolkata Knight Riders in Chennai. At that point, the media had speculated that SRK has a cameo in Bigil, which was then tentatively titled Thalapathy 63 but it has turned out to be a rumour. 2 days back, however, Shah Rukh Khan had shared the trailer of Bigil on Twitter and had called it ‘Chak De India on steroids’, referring to his 2007 blockbuster in which he also played a sports coach, just like Vijay’s character in the upcoming film.
The source, before signing off, exclaims, “If this film gets finalized, it’ll be something to watch out for. Shah Rukh Khan suits the part and Atlee would surely present him in a great avatar. All those who hinted that SRK is finished after Jab Harry Met Sejal and Zero’s twin debacles will have to eat their words!”

Kriti Sanon criticises the song ‘Tareefan’; compares it to ‘Ek Chumma’ from Housefull 4
Actress Kriti Sanon who was last seen in the film Arjun Patiala opposite Diljit Dosanjh will next be seen in the film Housefull 4. The actress is currently busy promoting the film along with co-stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde.
Recently, in an interview, Kriti was asked about the sexual undertone in the song ‘Ek Chumma’ from Housefull 4. To this, the actress said that Akshay, Riteish and Bobby's character in the song are saying those lines to their partner, not to a stranger. The actress said that she would have spoken up if the song was disrespectful towards women.
Kriti further spoke about the song ‘Tareefan’ from Veere Di Wedding and pointed out that the male models were being treated the way mainstream treats female models and nobody said anything. Kriti was further asked why the girl was being put down in the song ‘Coca Cola’ from her film Luka Chuppi. Kriti justifies by saying that her character was also saying the same lines to the guy. The Heropanti actress also asked how it is okay for a guy to be teased, but there's so much talk when a girl is being teased.
After Housefull 4, Kriti Sanon will be seen in Ashutosh Gowariker’s film Panipat alongside Arjun Kapoor.
